Optimizing Images for Web and Print

I was asked how to optimize images today, I have been doing it for so long that I had to think where to begin but it turned out this person has Adobe Photoshop so that was a no brainer. After we met and walked through various ways to optmize depending on the final product media, I shared the webbild.com free image optimzer so he could have a tool for on the fly.
