Enhancing Your Journal

Ah, we've nearly completed the first semester for EDU102. Now that students have had a chance to experiment with a variety of technologies they can use in their classrooms, they will have a few days to go back over their previous reflection journal posts and enhance them by adding, images, gadgets, videos and links that they might have added originally had they known these enhancements existed or knew how to add them. Today I showed them a few ways to enhance, primarily by adding various gadgets or widgets such as those found at Google which provide dynamic content that can be used in countless ways. This gadget provides an Einstein quote each day. I would perhaps use this post as a class opener or closer, maybe asking students how the current quote might be interpreted or applied in their life.
